For added pimpness get the seat pocket from a passenger seat as they bolt straight on then you'll have a pocket either side for remotes etc.

My son has the seat from my old 760 (with 2 pockets) as his chair for watching telly/gaming and loves it.

My first GLT still has both it's front seats as wheelie chairs, more than worthwhile for a build

This got me inspired and I finally got ex cop office chair from warehouse, that childrens 70's tube frame chair did start to fail on me already, so I guess it was a time already.

Actually I have planned making such car seat chair for long time, but problem is that I need all my seats in cars, maybe I take seat from french crap when it is a time.

I have to Metro GTA sport seats as pc chairs at home Didn't take too long to convert. Managed to remove the seat runners and sell them on and remove the fabric from the rear seat and sell that on too. The seats originally came from a Metro I owned last year; but I took them out to fit MG seats Picture of pc chair below.

Learning to weld is quite fun.

I got this kind of result without gas, when I put nozzle against surface I was working with, tilted it about 45 degrees to right and buzzed just about a second, then moved tiny bit of nozzle and buzzed again and so on whole length of seam. Holes came when I did move nozzle tiny bit too much. I'm not good at all with welding, but found out that such way even I can make working welds. 2nd point I did found out that surfaces must be extra clean, even tiny bit of paint caused popping craclking corn flakes effect that was not nice, underside of that patch is full of that

yeah that's a good and consistant technique; you're normally able to use a slightly higher setting to get better flow of the liquid metal because of the really short welding time
i'm surprised you can get this quality welds without gas! the section on the right side of the pic is flawless, as you said; cleaned surface and steady movement of the pistol is key to do this

Yeah that's really good for a first time without gas! looks better than mine WITH gas

That must be said that I did have gasless welding wire, costs a lot, but not as much as gas over here, that is unless you can get somewhere old bottle and know right people, when gas is cheaper.

I think that quick is good, usually I started next spot while last one was still red. I did not use mask, well kept it on hand and moved it to cover most flying melt metal, but there is not much point trying to look welding when doing such sort time welds, it is same to use some metal sheet as a mask, imo.

Automatic masks are perhaps better in that.

jup, automatic helmet is better in that as a timesaver for placing the pistol to the next spot (you can even setup the display to go see-through only when your weld is cooled down to the point it's not red anymore!) if you don't have a automatic helmet best is to simply close your eyes and look away.
