Not in any particular order, nor the definitive list, but three cars that spring to mind:

The Fiat 130 Coupé, for combining Fiat's last true (as in convincing) luxury offering with a clean, timeless and relevant design.

The Mercedes-Benz 450 SEL 6.9, for looking terrifyingly imposing while being completely inconspicuous about its ridiculously powerful and uneconomical engine, for being the coolest car in Ronin and for being probably the only car for which Mercedes-Benz bought a licence from Citroen in order to produce the hydropneumatic suspension.

The Renault 5, because every human being in the world could drive one without looking out of place in it.

Or 288 GTO, used ones costs in US around 500k - 600k, not bad for car made 1984-1986, world's first hyper car and it just screams manly whatever angle you look at it:


Then it is bit harder to pick 3rd one, there would be T813 for offroad maddness, but maybe something more usable would be better.

Jag XJS V12 Estate would be nice, but I think it never came out from factory, true battle must be between, Aston Martin V8 Vantage and Ford Falcon XB GT with bit of tuning like this:

Nooo so many people are missing the point. What do TG say? If you tried to pick up Cameron Diaz on a date in one, would she like it? They may be cool to us man folk but to the laydees - much so?

I think limiting it to three is near impossible. So I'm going to come up with a list...and refine it later.

TVR Cerbera Speed 12 (Because no-one (yet) has had the balls to take it to its top speed of 240+ - the car with power unknown - it snapped the input shaft of the dyno it was tested on - the testers eventually ran with 6 plugs out and only 6 cylinders working and doubled the figure the dyno gave making 960BHP... It could be the fastest road car built but no one knows how fast it goes - Keeps changing hands, I don't thinks its even copped a speeding ticket - crying shame I think... - I wont bother with a picture, the guy who owns it now has put an incredibly ugly bodykit on it and I hates.

Why it is that Lagonda, Biturbo or DeLorean are always missing from these topics? I mean they are so out of line that they should get cool status, whatever that is?
