Its my daily driver, but has got volvosport springs on the front and i need to fit the blocks on the back.

Quick question where is the pipe that originates from the driverside headlight area meant to be connected on the engine? as mine was floating about in the engine bay this morining.

welcome! get some photo's up!

Guessing the pipe is for the headlamp washers, it should push onto one of the pumps that sit on the side of the washer fluid tank or a t-piece somewhere close

naa it looks like an air hose

only place i can see it could fit is onto a metal plate covering the exhaust manifold, doesnt seem to serve a purpose though :?

You've had your hot air flappy thing removed....

The hose by the headlamp goes to a 3 way junction with a flap in it, that also connects to the metal plate on the exhaust manifold. They are the hot and cold air feeds that then go to the air filter housing.

Not really, it's meant to stop carb freezing but I ran my 1.7 for a year without really noticing it was missing

I also didn't run mine for a long time. They are great when they work, but they seize. I'd remove the hose though so it isn't flapping!
