Probably something like V6Speedy88 wrote:Ohh right, I didn't realise that. I thought it was only their markets. Wonder what they sound like?

Renault more modern ones should sound better like this example shows:

With custom exhaust manifolds and proper exhaust, bit hotter cam and fuel injection with individual runners it should be pretty nice.
Older ones eat cams, so one need to prepare getting new ones, more modern Renault ones are such that have those problems cured but more work to fit in, I would recommend megasquirt and spark setup and rather modern unit as those have more power and less weight.
Re: Anyone know anything about 960 engines?
think it was the b28 that ate cams, volvo 'fixed' it in the b280. guessing 406 coupe was what peugeot put it in

Nice! Every day is a school day. I now have some evil ideas
Re: Anyone know anything about 960 engines?
Also consider this, there is 363CS prototype, 5 made, it had PRV in it, replica of such would be something that would be among 5 top things that I know of, don't know if others feel the same.Speedy88 wrote:Nice! Every day is a school day. I now have some evil ideas
I saved interior pics once as I think it has best interior colours/shapes that I have seen in any 300 series car, if you search 363cs you should find rest of pics on this board, there were some things about rear axle setup etc, also engine pics was in that one thread:
edit: Found the link and it still works, so here is all pics that I have ever seen from 363cs:

Body is bit different from rear too, which makes lot of improvement to looks, imo.
For me it is perfect looking 360.
Re: Anyone know anything about 960 engines?
Yeah I've always thought the 363 was nice too, something to keep in mind I guess. I have about 4 or 5 different ideas now for my engine swap. Timescale will be pretty long as the current engine runs perfect. Basically once I've finished my "next" project car I can take the 360 off the road and make a start.
Re: Anyone know anything about 960 engines?
Cheers for the link to the 363cs pics. Never knew it had a prv in it, I'd guessed 2.3T or something on sidedraughts
I'd seen a thread from years ago about rear anti-roll bars and there was a picture of a 363cs rear axle showing it's rear ARB setup, something I'm hoping to do.
I wanna make mine a 365cs now
