highest mileage

Is it Ok if people in Australia decide about mentioning ebay items listed in Australia?

There is a Volvo exactly the same as mine, also manufactured Feb 1986:

Has done 385,000km, body looks good, they say the engine is excellent.

Has anyone seen one with more km or miles than this?

Mine has 139,000km. Mine does not have the driving lights at the front.

In australia I have not seen one advertised with lower km than my own.

A couple of months ago, there was a 360 with 40somthing 000kms and one with somthing like 85k for sale.

I expect yours would run a lot smoother than the 385k, i hvea 240 with a hard life and 314k and it runs fine, but my engine is smoother @ 203k

i've seen one with under 15,000m for sale.. not sure on the highest milage though

There's one for free on the dutch forum with the same mileage. 385000, kilometres that is. So about 240000 miles. That car has rust ans needs welding. I can figure that an australian car can get further without being eaten by rust because it isn't so moisty over there :-S

289753 is the mileage of a 360 GLT in the UK that I knew of. It has since been broken for spares. But if I get a chance I'll have a look for some records of higher mileages that have been reached in 300's, they're in some magazine I've got somewhere!

I'd be interested to hear what had ever gone wrong with that high mileage 360.

I asked the ebayer if he knew if it had ever had a new clutch, he didn't know, says he's owned it for three years.

The one I knew of out lived the bodywork! Basically rust had eaten it away at some structural points, and it wasn't viable for the owner to have it repaired.
