Step 1. Consider dirtiness of car;
Step 2. Realise that just scrubbing with a cloth won't work;
Step 3. Apply copious amounts of degreaser to the underbonnet area;
Step 4. Buff to a shine;
RESULT=
Congratulations to our very own Foggy for winning the best 300 at the show (yes, there was more than one there!!)
His beardiness is complete!!

Haha! Thanks chaps. Note how terrible I look in those pics....4 hours sleep for two nights in a row!

How I won, I don't know...the car is rusty, dented, and the paint could be a lot fresher. I guess the toys paid off
I feel kinda bad for being so harsh about last year's show now! The whole event felt much more friendly this year, so maybe some comments were taken on board....maybe last year was just wrong place at the wrong time? A good time was had by all...so a job well done
cheers
James

well done foggy , you only have to see ted browns 360 to realise that last year the judges were a wee bit off with their scoring , considering that car made BKV , no disrespect to ted of course .

Nice pics of nice volvo's...
That 340 actually looks quite like a 360 so no one will blame you for calling it a 360...

Good effort Foggy! And the bonnet made it home, and I still had a good view apart from a small blind spot on the passenger side. Does this mean you now get to compete against the 'super beardies', and leave the comfort of us mere mortals?

Congratulations James!
Considering your lack of sleep, you actually look half decent in the photos!

Well done Foggy,
appologies for net getting to have a look myself as i was busy as hell selling parts all day.
that was the best turn out for a few years, apparently 150 to be judged.
i am now gonna start a new thread on the northern BKV. hope to see you there.
Volvo drivers do it with safety in mind.
