well here it is. i am not really a forum surfer but gotta start sometime.

It should not be that hard if you have a 360. I would use the 360 struts (340 ones don't work well with the 360 weight) and rear axle for the brakes.

I'm going to be putting one into a Mk1 (1980 343), I've got the 360 parts from a doner car(s), torque tube, gearbox, rear diff and axle, front struts. Bacically I've got the 360 parts and B230 block and a head. I'm just about to start stripping the Mk1 and sorting out the best of the doner parts to start preparing them. It's a very long term project! Looks like your ahead of me!

Good effort! This looks like a great project. Where did you get your twin carb manifold out of interest?
