Looks like it skids really well now! Yeah, the manual racks are a lot nicer to use than a knackered PAS rack  As for videos - I'm back up at the end of the month. No promises but I'll grab some footage if you are on the track. Could even go in for the team comp if you like?

BTW dude, you're a brave man for doing all this work on a surface like this! I couldn't stand doing it anywhere other than flat concrete.

Yea car drifts well, its my lack of skill and experience that lets it down really, some videos would be great if you can catch me not spinning lol, ive never entered the team comp, abit nervous about spinning and doing some damage to someones car but i think i might man up at the next one so yea.
As for working on the drive its fucking horrible, makes simple things twice as hard, thats why i come on here every now and then and have abit of a cry and a moan

What u drifting at buxton speedy?

Yeah. The engine is questionable though. Making quite the knock! It was only £275 though so who's arguing?

Decide to sort a patch of rust outon the passenger side arch so took the wing off to see what was hiding behind that, after a quick wire brushing by hand it looked like Image
Then wire brush on the drill and was Image
A mate came down to give me a hand on the lower patch, forgot to get a Image
Then i had a go at the

As you can see i chopped the overhanging bit of the arch off as it was much easier and this obviously is just a track car, gave it a etch primer and a dust of paint and then a good undersealing/stone Image

Hopefully ready for some drifting at the weekend

Cheers

Broke it again :( subframe again, it somehow slipped out of were it bolts as its lime a y shaped bit at the front, dont know how though as it was all tight and none of the bolts were loose, i did hit the rumble strips sideways, hopefully the subframe isnt bent but not looked yet,

This time im thinking of putting the sumbframe on and get it all lined up and bolted in and then undo one side at a time were the y shaped bits are and put a washer on and re bolt it and then weld the washer to the subframe so it cant slide out again?

This could be a good idea, dunno how it slipped out though, the radius arm mountings should have held it in place.
