It was beone my repair sadly mate, and it was worse than it looked tbh, the clips were it bolts to the wing was holding it together in about 4 or 5 parts. I have saved it though and i wasnt really sure why but now you have said that im gonna keep it incase my 340 ever needs any repairs in that area because im not cutting that up! Kills me enough to cut the 360 up
Im i imagening things or is the arm bent?
Srarted stripping it down todat but rain stopped play.
O and i got to fix my fucking exhaust as when a tyre let go at weekend and and wrapped round the back axle and driveshaft etc. That teaches me not to be a twat and carry on when a tyre pops
hmm nope you're not, unless the picture is warped a bit. Looks like your radius arm is very slightly bent but nothing clamping it in a vice (or putting a lot of weight on it) won't fix
Well got it stripped down, cant see anything bent or twisted apart from the arm, cross member and chassis etc all seem normal. I have no idea how or why it slipped out, seems impossiple to slide out unless something was seriously bent? And all the bolts were still tight,
If anyone can spot anything that dosent look right let me know
You would think so but it some how happened, they were 100% all in, off the top of my head theres 2 17mm bolts that screw into the chassis leg and a 15 either side that bolts into the plate were the thingy arm goes to (minds gone blank and cant think of its name lol), thhen theres other bits and bats to take it completely. Off the car but it was all there so im as confused as you
They are solid steel, not tubular - me and Atchi cut one up. it could (probably is) be causing steering issues.
Welding on the subrame looks good I've got a spare subframe I'm going to weld up.

Cheers nimz, got a spare one fitted but got rained out before i could do anything else, cheers it aint perfect but its strong and dose the job so it will do for me, i know that i hit the rumble strips when i bent the arm, could possibly have been the xmember again if it wasnt strengthened? And i would rather bend the radius arm than the subframe so hopefully its doing the job,
Yea i wouldnt wanna go makeing that area any stronger as you say its likely to shift the damage straight to the chassis leg and then its even bigger problems,
Think im gonna change the lock tight i use for another braned
Got the subframe fitted, one side was out, only like 3 or 4 mm if that and it was only were the front bolt goes in the y, going to build it up anyways and see how it is because i need to move the 360 so i can get the 340 ready for its mot, if its pissed as fuk it will have to be stripped back down
