I got this magazine for Christmas, which has a very long and detailed review of the new Volvo 343, with some great pictures and drawings. Unfortunately, I can't read Italian, so I have no idea whether it is a positive review or not!
Yes I know - the cover looks really strange with clear indicators, but the pictures on the inside are clearly orange. They also have side repeaters, which MY77 outside Italy don't have. I think it was an Italian requirement in those days, as there is a 1976 mk1 Fiesta from Italy for sale near me, with odd-looking side repeaters.

Can't really see it properly on the moby Tom, but weren't white front indicator lenses an Italian market requirement back in the day? I'm fairly certain they were, but when they harmonised with the rest of Europe I'm not sure.

You mean the car on the cover is a different one from the car in the rest of the pictures?
The one on the cover is Italian registered and spec. Front indicators are white facing forwards and amber to the side. Still no idea when they knocked that particular requirement on the head.
