Silver/grey metallic D-reg in Hanworth, Middlesex yesterday. Driven quite fast by two non-mentallists - i.e. they did not stop, wave, hoot, etc.... elderly couple.
1988 340 1.4 GL, 218k, 5 door (Grey Bess). Gone to CBA.
1991 340 1.7 GL, 64k, 5 door, petrol blue (Deep Blue).
1988 360 2.0 GLE, 140k, 5 door, ocean blue metallic (Blue Bess).

Hi all, just picked up a very nice 340 GL 1.7 (89), 108k, been garaged for last 30 yrs ! Drives perfectly and looking forward to owning for a while
My family has had many volovs over the years from 2xx, 3xx, 7xx and V/XC series.
Anyway, thought I would pop a photo or two here and see if anyone knows it . I live in Brackley, Northants.

Upstate New Malden last week. It was a 1.7 and had some proper propshaft-breaking wheels on it.
You can even see the twin towers for which the town is not famous in the distance.

Saw the blue one in New Malden again yesterday and today a red G-reg 4-door (?) on the southbound A3 which I accompanied in the blue 1.7 as far as the M25. Honked and they waved back. Wow!!
