Sports Exhaust

Post by kevGLT »

Can anyone advise me on a replacement exhaust system for my 1988 360GLT, not wanting anything too loud, but just an upgrade from the normal.

There aren't any upgrade systems available off the shelf unfortunately, the best you'll do is a normal replacement one from kwik fit or similar or a replacement Volvo system which will cost a fair bit more, can't remember who but think it was John 360glt on here got a custom stainless steel system for around £250 which wasn't overly loud,
Edit: just found the thread:

I've only ever heard good things about Longlife. Powerflow seem to be a lot more variable. They'd turned my mates car into a fart-wagon before he'd realised they weren't going to ask him what he wanted. To give them credit, it did sound nice...but it was VERY loud, and didn't ever shut up.

cheers
