it is a free glt, and its far from a wreck thanks - 164k, fogs, windows, rear wiper, very tidy interior, outside has 2 spots of rust, fully working factory sunroof. '87 model brought in '86, it even has an air recirc button (rare on a glt). oh and it goes like sh*t off a shovel

only faults are the rust (minor), boot hydrolics are shot (easy to fix) and fuel gauge (not sender) is bust (easy to replace).

i win!

Concerning the recirculation button, it's not sooo rare, I would say it's the opposite, it's rare when the button is missing.

Where did you get the car man?

someone offered it to me, on the voc forums. i took it as it was only 50 miles away - he brought it for £200 4 years ago, and felt 'it didnt owe me anything'

apparently recirc is unusual on 360s.

incidentally, the last service (155k), cost £600! lots of work done, only a year ago, and to me its free!

oh and its got a stereo, and central locking, and came with a tank of fuel

not much rust, just a spot or 2 on the rear arches and some on the sunroof.

black, 5 door. would post a pic but havent got one to hand.. maybe tomorrow.. everything is good on it though.. you're just jelous

Black... I've seen recently a black 360 GLT saloon for sale, I was very excited but when I saw the car in the reality... Rust, rust and rust. No MOT and pratically for free.

All 360's I have seen have had that recirculation button here in Finland. Black is a nice colour. I have thought about repainting my GLT in metallic black or something like that.

It was very rare in the UK - ironically more base-model 340s had it than 360s!

I expected that for the rust, that's a very bad place, you will have big holes when the rust will be gone. And if it's rusted there like that, you can be sure that there are other places with rust problems.

But ok, it's a good looking GLT, for free >

(funny the fuel gauge, first time I see that problem!)
