fuel gauge

Post by Vart »

out of interest does the fuel light work out when you've got low fuel from the resistance reading and a temperature one?

my light in the hot comes on at the line but pretty much past E in the cold and regarding this i know fuel expandes and whatnot but does it mean 5 litres whatever the ambient temperature?

I have fixed mine, most likely you need to do same as I because it is now getting bad contact at cold (different temp causes different gap etc)

I have some pics from tank sender that you probably need to take out and clean + possible bend that float arm a bit.

You can see here that at end there is wire very closely around that part
