has that got solex carbs? as i know that noise of poping from a little hole on the carb

same as my dads twin 40's

and is it ment to run like that ?

as its the same with my dads 2002

Ironic- that was the last year it ran in anger

Dellorto 45's-prob running that ropey due to ancient fuel-just wanted to make sure it hadn't seized before it's brought home for some fettling and a bit of resto-got some history that car-Bilbo knows it all-you'll have to ask him.

Very nice

My 360 sounds a bit like that on a cold start at present, but I think the cold-start enrichment valves on the 40s are out of alignment, meaning it's getting uneven enrichment on a cold start.
