Got a free 340!!

Felt a bit better yesterday evening so took the dog for a walk to get some fresh air. Anyway i've spotted a red 340 in this driveway a few times and it never seemed to move.

Went and had a look round it and its fairly rusty in the normal places but could be rescued. However it was last on the road 2 years ago.

Its a 1.7 GL saloon btw.

As nobody was in I stuck a piece of paper through the door and the owner called me this morning and says I can have it hehe.

Yep so much better looking than hatches hehe. Best thing is the rusty bits are pieces I was planning to modify anyway.

I do like the hatch more, but i think thats because they are 3 door.

free cars are always the best .

hatches are better , since you dont catch the hedges so much when going sideways .

Nope will still want your 360 just been picking the 340 and another car i've bought up hehe.

Got some interesting plans for the 340 to make something to drive for the summer. Did the ever make a convertible or am I venturing into uncharted territory?

There wasn't a factory convertible, but it has been done (sort of)...

I think it's gotta be a saloon for a roof chop...the proportions work so much better.

Sooo...When are you planning to come and get the car (or would you like it delivering)? It's costing me money to store it, so if you're having it, I want it gone.
