I've searched and I haven't find any answers... Is some steering wheel of Volvo range compatible with our series 300 ? I would like to change my 38cms truck-steering wheel for a volvo OEM ( smaller

) instead of a sporty one !
Looking references of bosses I think there aren't but maybe you know more than me...
Thanks !!!

It is possible to fit with modification one from a 400 series or pug 205.
Bosses are available as direct fitment for the 300

it's probably easier to buy a peugeot 205 boss+steering wheel and just extend the indicator cancelling thingy yourself.. Pug 205 stuff is available easily, I bought a steering wheel+boss in good shape for 25 euro's...now compare that to the average 50-60 euro volvo 300 series bosses + shipping and it soon becomes a very interesting option.
The indicator cancelling can be extended by welding a bit onto it, or just drill+screw something on there.
Havent figured out what to do with the horn yet, but since I only race my 360 a button somewhere on the dash is good enough for me.

I come back this topic for asking a question...
Looking for a Pug 205 boss I see that there are variations of bosses for Pug 205 for years ( before 87 and post 87 I think )
What of this bosses fits a 360 ?
A) The pre 87
B) The post 87
C) Either
D) Neither
E) All answers are correct
F) My cat is orange and it's called Bob
Thanks !!!!

I'd vote F!
Really dont know, but I have some random 205 boss and it fits just fine, save the indicator stalk which does nothing. The pity is that I cant weld anything onto the boss since it is alloy...need to get myself some MIG-brazing stuff soon.
Obviously a v300 direct fitment boss is much more preferable, but pug-205 parts are available a-plenty and dirt cheap most of the time (read: suits the average v300 driver profile).

There are also original R-Sport steering wheels made by MoMo, so those will fit on any hub with the standard 6-bolt pattern, for example Luisi etc.. Though R-Sport wheels aren't too common. I've got one in my 360TIC

and I managed to get one for our 240 too, it's a bit different design and looks much better in live than in pics.

Both are original Volvo parts and have that common 6-bolt pattern.

That steering wheels looks soo cooooool !!
I'm asking for 205 bosses only for price. A 360 boss cost 90 EUR where I see and a 205 one maybe 15 - 25 EUR. I prefer to spend that money in a good wheel !!

I bought a new Luisi boss for my 360, it was like 38£ in Norway.
And with a "not so cheap" Sabelt Wheel, you get this:

It's just the look I want... Beautyful as usual NikDev !!
BTW, I think I found the differences between bosses. Older ones have a 35mm cone and newer ones 55mm ( in the part which connect with the steering rack ) !
How is a 360/340 boss in this aspect ?
Thanks !!
