340 GLT Rolling Shell and parts

Well its time for a clear up,so the list is as follows;

1989 2DR 340 Shell with 360GLT torque tube,box and diff fitted,PAS,GLT interior.Needs welding on the rear panel and front inner wing.All arches are in good condition.It has had all soundproofing(including the black stuff) removed as it was intended to be the next rally project but plans have changed.Photos tell the story.

Is the hydro on the shell's handbrake open to offers too or is that going with the car

bugger... chris you always strike first! oh well, doesnt really matter as my 360 handbrake works seriously well anyway

Sorry boys,the cylinder and bracket are in my part owned 360 GLS that came 3rd in semi expert class in a local rally yesterday.To be honest he prefered the cables as it would not lock the wheels with the hydraulic,the lever felt to hard.The shell will be minus a front light due to the GLS pushing a concrete gate pillar over

lol, tbh the 360 has the best handbrake I've ever used in a car - its a different mechanism to the 340 isnt it.

Bigger drums and less levering points i think.

If you end up breaking the shell, I could use the PAS bits.

Otherwise...I may have to get my mate who lives in Llanwnnen (I think) to relieve you of the springs and a couple of other items.

I live just up the road from Llanwnen so i'm bound to know him.Was it the leaf springs or the coil springs?

Aneirin Holmes. I was best man for his brother, Owen, who happens to be my best mate. They're both big into their Citroens, and Aneirin is a mechanic for a Formula Renault team. I think Aneirin now lives elsewhere (Swansea?) for work, but they still come 'home' fairly regularly.
