Hmm, Sabvo or Volsa ?

It can of course be also Tshing Yeng SV, but that might be bit scary, how many of you will buy premium China quality lower balljoints with hefty price tag?

Ok, maybe they can make good quality stuff in China, some Hanwei Katanas are pretty nice for price, but haven't heard from quality car parts, also those very low price Katanas are rather pathetic and even dangerous if you try to cut with them.

If we're going to use take-aways as a basis for who gets Volvo then I hope Tata get them!

All im saying is that if you got a free chicken in satay sauce with every track rod end, or a banquet for four with every new car, then the world would be a better place.

When you get fortune cookie it won't have wise words but some car part, now that would rock

I believe that they can make any quality parts in China, but buyers are not interested nothing else but cheapest possible as that creates better profit.

If we're basing our decisions on the quality of countries fast food, I'd hope Fiat get Volvo

You want Volvo on that Pizza?

To be honest, I have never ever seen Italians making pizza, most seem to be from Turkey at least around here :?
But is it then important who makes it if origins are in Italy

I certainly don't wish that UK would get Volvo, then they would come with Chips & Fish, which is not first in my list of best fast food, sorry 8)

Finns perhaps haven't invented any fast food, many of our foods are rather slow to make and still they don't have lot of flavour, at least compared to Mexican food :o

Lossmaking? Last thing I heard, Volvo was just about the only thing Ford owned which was making money...

Your information must be a bit old then. In the current news (AFP), it is said that ...
Volvo Cars has been hit hard by declining sales, as interest for its big, costly models dwindles.

In the third quarter, the company posted a net loss of 458 million dollars, nearly three times its full-year 2007 loss of 164 million dollars.
So, idea, make another small Dutch-made Volvo to save the company :D

LOL!

You should try the German fast food speciality: Chips & Currywurst - it makes you yearn for some nice Fish 'n' Chips with vinegar, wrapped up in a newspaper ;-)

I would like Mercedes to buy Volvo. They'd deal with the parts situation, build a museum, take pride in the marque's history, etc. etc.
