Hello all

Post by pandaselecta »

Just a quick hello :). Sort of stumbled upon this site as i am a mate of FilthyJohn (hi mate, Chris here :D). Dont currently have a 300 series, but my mam has a 3 door 1986 340DL variomatic, in that faded light blue :). 'Josephine' hasnt seen daylight for around 10 years :shock:, this was thanks to a main stealer messing up the gearbox, my mam buying a replacement car (citroen bx), then the dealer fixing the problem. But my mam decided to use the replacement instead. Anyway, my current list of vehicles consists of a 1983 Porsche 924, 1979 Fiat campervan, 1994 Fiat panda selecta, and a 2000 Fiat fiorino. Will be keeping the Porsche for six months then will be thinking of a 340 1.7 :)

People of V3M, please help me to convince Chris to give his mam the panda and drive the 340! He'll be so much happier.

Chris, ive just recieved an important telex (yes thats correct, a telex. theyre scientific.) from The World Leauge Of Eminent Scientists And High Level Intelectual Thinkers.
I wont confuse you with the technical mumbo jumbo, but the gist of it is basicly as follows:

<begin message>

...Research complete......
..10 years of riggerous trials have bourne fruit..
.results, as expected.
...tests in every area confirm Conclusion beyond doubt...

<Pause>

...Conclusion as follows:...

<pause>

.Please stand by.

Volvo 300s are better than Fiat Pandas.

<message ends>

Now im not a fancy big city lawyer or anything man.
But thats straight form the top.
Gospel.
The World Leauge Of Eminent Scientists And High Level Intelectual Thinkers are to be ignored at your own lengthy peril.

Party on.

is this some sort of subliminal message

if you take the first letter of each word in

The World Leauge Of Eminent Scientists And High Level Intelectual Thinkers are to be ignored at your own lengthy peril.

and rearrange them you get

Total oil by a Whales pit :D
