Sounds very familiar! When Nr. 1 was born I set off after not having slept for 36 hours (or was it 48?) to buy some baby clothes. Was in a bit of a daze and lost the back end going out of a junction and just caught it in time to avoid the oncoming traffic.
No sleep and your mind on something else - not a good combination!
Rory Carr - as in Rory the Racing Car. Hope he doesn't get too much stick about that in later life.

Yup - I was a little distracted at the time - funny we should have done almost the exact same thing!

I wanted to move to Inverness last year ( pretty mad seeing as I have never been further north than the lake district )
found a lovely house near culloden moor, kinda got the idea the wife wasnt keen when she deleted the house advert from my favourites list
I lived on a farm out by Culloden when I was a kid - lovely place - lots of neolithic stuff and some good rallies go through there too which I can still remember as a kid. I love it up here, I should have made this move years ago and cant recommend it enough. House like that is going to crucify you on council tax and energy bills though. I have a 5 bedroom double garage place and it costs the earth.
