well bought man.
even with a few problems, its 150 very well spent!
Yeah tbh the advert makes it seem a lot worse than it was, the heater works fine but for some reason is faster on speed one than two but is fine again on 3, the window is just the motor that needs replacing and their is no real rust on her, oh and its only actually done 40k them clocks are replacments.

Only worry i have is its losing a little bit of water now and again but theirs no mayo or running issues yet...

Good news all round then man.
What else could you have got with a hundred and fifty?
Some rwd ford, er, wheels?

Always wanted a GLT.
Now I really wish I'd bought yours.

Glad youre happy with it man.
Years of happy motoring left in that tinker.
Cant believe how low the miles are too!
Thats amazing.

Going to drop a 2.3 turbo in when i can figure out what one i need and then actually find one... then i might have a bit more of a play with the suspension see if i can get any lower without any issues and see if i can get the handeling a bit better (still need to doubble up the rear leafs and swap out the dampers)

Not sorted the exhaust issue yet but i have found one issue... if you have wheel weights on the inside of the staderd alloys... they eat through your handbrake cables when its 2" lower...

yup.
£700 ask for a £150 outlay.
Interesting mathmatics there.
And good luck with that.

Shame it wasnt offered on to someone here.
At somewhere near cost.

Each to their own.

yeah i dont want the volvo to sell its the mrs's dission... fortunatly she doesnt know about car prices so i might get away with overpricing it and getting no interest.. tho to be fair i would of happily paid £700 for her

oh and volvosneverdie i havent just spent 150 on her at all that was just the price of the car as it came.

For example i can weld but would rather the diff be done by someone who has been welding for years so i had to take the diff off and to a freind and pay him £60 to get it welded so thats £210, then i did a oil change thats another £30 spent so £240... bolts for lowering it were £10 + welding time (had to get threaded rod and weld the nut to the top as nothing was long enough)... ect ect

if you think i have bought it and just stuck a £700 price tag on it to make a quick buck you are mistaken

And at the end of this week i might have a 2.3 lump sat on my drive to go in which would be included at that price

EDIT: and on a side note i have only had 1 enquiry from a joker with 20 posts so it looks like my plan is working, 2.3 powers here i come

yeah... going round the triangle yesterday (put standerd fuel in as well which didnt help) i noticed how low on grunt she is low down and then mid range... sounded good though BRAP BRAP POP POP SCRAPE SCRAPE (exhaust might just be catching on bumps again lol) so its got to be 2.3
