Hi HD,
filled up about an hour ago at Morrisons at Corton Wood, queued for 15 minutes, knob in front of me was already getting arsy at having to wait!
70 quid to fill up, and had more than quarter of a tank already!

I put £99 in at Asda the other day and still not full and it cuts off at £99
I must admit I filled an extra 2 cans of diesel just now to save me time when I'm out on deliveries so I don't have to get in the Q again. Trucks full now after another £80

Should last till the weekend and maybe till Monday.
I suppose everyone filling up will lessen the demand when there is a strike and it will help to effectively stockpile fuel in peoples tanks where it's safe anyway. It's just a pain when I have to fill up every 3 days anyway, to face a massive Q even at 9pm.
You're not far away in Rotherham, let me know if you need a hand with anything on the GLT. I've not had anything to do with GLT's but have quite a few parts for 5 door 300's if you need anything. I know where there's a GLT in a scrapyard nearby...same colour. I've had quite a bit off it already!

Andy, do you know if the passenger side doors are any good?
360's do look nice in that colour

the bumpers are needed for it I think.

Hi Chaps,
there are a few parts I need, body bits, did you notice what condition the sunroof was in, mine has a couple of rust holes, also have dent in front n/s wing, also lost one side of of the front lip spoiler, also one of the door cup pulls is damaged!
So HD, if youre prepared to divulge the location of the scrapyard in which this beast resides Ill tell you theres a white 5 door 340 at Motorhog at Adwick le street!

(you may already have known that

).
Matt, the body appears reasonably rust free, though yours looks mint on the pics, Ill be keeping this standard though ( apart from some 480 Turbo alloys if I can find any, they were a dealer fit option, but saying that love leos too!)
Cheers Jason

I have the headlights off the white one! The GLT is at their other yard at Adwick. There's not much left of it. The wings/doors are badly damaged. Not sure about sunroof. I've had rear axle, all the transmission, front struts, lights, fog lights, bonnet and some other bits and bobs. Engine's still in. I was wondering about the headlining. If 3 door and 5 doors are the same I might get it for the Mk1. Seats are good but I need 3 door seats. I think they can be converted but not sure. Door pulls gone (not guilty!). They have saved the car for me for quite a while now so I'd better get everything I need off it soon.

Hell Driver wrote:It looks good! took me 3 attempts to fill the truck up today at Sainsburys. Didn't have time to Q for 20 minutes as I'm busy with work. I thought it would be quiet by 9pm....wrong!
I remember the lark back in 2000, but PMSL by the Thursday as I drove onto a completely empty forecourt to purchase the only thing they had available … LRP ;D
The joys of running a old car.

Hi Chaps,
I have a holey sunroof, about five 10mm holes( also holes in sills, spare wheel well), how hard it to replace sills? or am i just better off cutting out the rotten parts?
Any way the main point of this post is the sunroof, rather than messing about trying to remove and repair/replace the sunroof steel, is there any reason why the sunroof could not just be vinyl wrapped, the colour would not be identical but would be pretty close, and for the sunroof alone less than 20 quid!
So what do you reckon?
Cheers Jason
