The engine is the B20F from a 400 series. The manifold is from an early 440 injection but I'm sure I've seen some renaults with a manifold that looks quite close.

If you are phoneing scrappies ask for the manifold with a twin choke throttle. This manifold is also ideal for turbo conversions.

On 400's they are hard as anything to find, someone mentioned to me there are on renaults a while ago, but don't think I've looked since! Mine came from a J plate Will, so around '91 ish

Cheers chaps,

that looks very interesting dai, looked at a what i think was B18EP looked like the right sort of thing, and that was it, but the price was hefty he wanted 600pounds.... stuff that.

1 thing is i have one of these on my drive with 90somthing thausand miles on the clock.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1995-Renault-Lagu ... dZViewItem

its pritty rusty under, and iam not sure its going to pass its mot, so i was thinking about placing the engine in my car :P

also are we sure 300's handel better than these? the suspensions pritty stiff.

Cheers

That would would drop in. The only issue is that one is a single point injection and I'm not sure the injection unit would clear the bonnet.

Is the one you have multi point?

Dai,

Is that a singlepoint injection you bolted onto the B17 engine?
If so, could you give some more info, e.g. was it simple bolt-on or did stuff have to be modified? And you talked about adaptor plates...
I am very interested, as my carb is not as pretty as it should've been...
