Heh, the 16v already has plenty good enough brakes, Citroen did a bloody job job on that one!
Out of interest Adam, what sort of money have you invested in the upgrade (if you dont mind disclosing). I'm still undecided about what to do with the brakes on Fioner, but I'm pretty sure I wont be able to afford your way!

My current theory is to use some of my kites drag style... I have enough for 4 good stops... then its onto little kites, which as about as much use as smoking 300 brakes I'd guess, but at least it'd double the stopping power
Wonder if the blue book allows them...

There's something about keeping the silouette of the vehicle completely standard, dont think little kites would acheive this
I'm planning on a complete renewal of all the important brake bits at the very least. I've got another idea to measure up at some point to, which would be uber cheap if it works (but of course probably wont).

Is this the last mod before you start getting extreme in the power output department?
Nice work, Adam - looks like that job's been keeping you awake at night!

where did those wheels come from

Its one of the major mods before the engine goes in yes!!!!
The wheel is knackered, its bent in the back. I wanted to check i could get the brakes under 15" wheels!!!! Mine have a lower offset so should have a tad more clearance on the front edge.

Having seen a few pics the other night, I knew what was coming, but now I can see a few bits in more detail! Mate that looks superb, I'll have to get a spin in the beasty one day, see what the brakes can do!
