340 or 360? (bit of a newbie question)

Post by scratterdan »

hiya folks. i really want a volvo 300 series and once my 106 sells i will be purchasing one. but i dont no what oto go for. it will be a daily driver but its gotta be able to withstand a good bit of drifting.
there seems to be alot more 340s around than 360s but i really dont no what to get. all the onces ive looked at that are good soolid cars are 1.4's. are these good enough and would a 340 withstand hard driving and drifting?
hope you all can help me with this one. thanks dan :340: :360:

Not a thread hijack, however if a valver will be desired in the future, a volvo 340 1.7 is THE base for it, as the 1.7 bits fit the renault engine. the 360's have volvo's own engine. You can do a 1.4 340 to valver engine swap, however you will need a lot of 1.7 bits.
