I also have a 340 saloon which i think is to good to scrap. The mot ran out in march this year and its just been sat since. I got it off a mate who was getting rid of it just for spares if nothing else but had another one for spares so never took anything from it. I fired it up the other day and it started after sitting for a good while ran alright but the idle needs adjusting i think as it wouldnt idle with out a little choke. Also theres some weird eletrical stuff, i guess some wires are bared and touching somewhere along the line as when you switch the lights on it affects the rev counter as well as making some of the other dash warning lights come on although it all works as it should. It has an alarm wired in but i dont think it works. Just before being sat up i recall my mate telling me it had recently had new front tyres, new discs and new track rod ends. Tyres all round are good. I know it would need some front wipers for mot not sure what else dont think it would need much at all. I was thinking about moting it myself but moneys tight at the mo so not really got the cash, although i may see if i can sort one if theres not much interest in it as it is. Has rear speakers fitted. Theres some damage to one of the wings as you can see in the pics, could do with a wash. Its done a between 80,000 and 90,000, i know when my mate got it it come with a receipt for a clutch change which was done not all that many miles ago but im not sure if still have the receipt. Thinks that all i got to say about it, looking for offers, delivery is a possibility. Near bridgwater somerset.
and the v40 needs a fuel valve.
