1. car cuts out every now and then like when im driving if i coast down a hill etc it will cut out

Check your idle screw on the carb. The connection could be disconnected, or dodgy.

The gearbox drain plug is on the bottom. It's a 20mm or 22mm nut, something like that from memory.

how do u fill the bastard up if its at the bottom? lol

there's another on the side (N/S IIRC) of the box

Yup! or try to defy gravity. Usually, things end up failing when that happens

Can be really hard to get the side bolt off, you might need to drop the gearbox to get a hex socket on it. That is its assuming 360, if its a 340 should be less of an access problem.
