Everyone needs a Turbo in their life.
So I bought one off an OAP.
Lots of leather and wood.
Plus also has dropping back seats for a huge boot win.
Also came with some sexynumbers:
74K
200hp
I love it.
Fwd has never been so comfortable and rapid. (for me)
Outside.
Inside.

Mine spins up in 3rd (in the dry) all day long. Not touching the tyres till theyre bald though (sure that wont be too long).
Any recommendations for decent and affordable rubber when it comes to change them dude?

Get insurance for car fires, friend of mine lost his in fire, something ruptured and caused petrol to combust outside of engine...
I really did not like that car, vague steering feel, not very roomy inside compared to 300 and many other points that I have probably already forgotten, but has lot of power for sure.
There are a lot worse cars one could end up with, even some french ones, so that is good choice
If AC works that ride is very good at summer time, but keep eye on that speedometer, it is easy to not know how fast one is going as it is modern fwd crap, acceleration does not feel to be too much, but it pics up speed really fast, automatic is even worse as getting up to 140kph is not much effort and speed is felt only when one need to slow down.
Here is free sticker for you as now you have suitable car

:
Condition of car seem to be almost like new one, so it might give you some trouble free motoring. However if lights stay on no matter what you do, then it is central power module (or something like that) which has failed and at least here for diesel it did cost 1000 toymoney, perhaps not most common fail, but those are failing in x40 range of vehicles.
Mother's diesel V40 had such fail, also rusting from places that are hard to explain as for example top part of door frame, nothing even touches part where it has been rusting, it is rusting from quite many of such places which I find odd, but maybe your T4 is bit better in that as it is not so old.

Hows your back now dude?
Yeah, it feels like a new car and other than the battery dying over night, theres been no other problems so far.
Oddly, after 30hrs charge, the same battery has been fine ever since.
Youre right about cabin space (especially the rear). Its tighter than a 300.
The lights come on with the ignition no matter what I do, but go off with the ignition too. Was wondering if that was a "feature" or a "fault".

Back is same or worse than before, I guess something is really broken from there
Lights coming on with ignition is actually feature, then it is problem when they won't go off when you turn ignition off.
We have had here law that requires you to keep headlights on all the time when you drive, even at daytime, also there was some law about new cars needed to have such feature implemented that they are on automatically. It is possible to put parking lights on, but not possible to turn lights completely off, even with my french crap that is the same, I think that even with 360 I have the same, not sure about 340, rather annoying feature.
I think that in Sweden they got similar law, but I know that in some countries you can get fined if you drive lights on during the day.

Depends which lights
DRLs are Europe wide from Feb 2011 or something. Annoying things legislated for on the basis of flaky studies.

That sucks dude.
Can you get someone to drive you a million miles to the nearest hospital?
Or send for a helicopter?
Your info on the lights staying on "feature" has been echoed on the VOC forum too. So thats me happy.

Lights of head. Not of dash or other. But you knew that.

They would not take me to hospital as injury is such that it is not possible to do anything about it.
My research gave me timeframe of 2 to 6 weeks, one week is time that rest is needed, but if after one week it has not got better it might take 6 to 12 weeks.
Oh and helicopters can't land into forests

Well you could always disable them (if that works on UK models, below is from a US handbook):
Daytime Running Lights:
The S40 and V40 come from the factory with daytime running lights activated. Carry out the following steps if you will deactivate them. These steps may be carried out again to reactivate and deactivate the daytime running lights as desired.
Programming for On or OFF
Turn the headlight switch to position

.
Turn the ignition key in position II.
Pull the turn signal lever towards you and hold it while turning the headlight switch to position 0.
If the green light underneath the headlight switch is on the daytime running lights are on.
WARNING!
Do not activate or deactive the Daytime Running Lights while driving.
Go on! Be a rebel!

Yeah, the lights are the same on mine too - confusing at first but I just leave them on all the time as I did on the S70, doesn't seem to affect bulb life anyway. The only real thing I can complain about with these is the vague steering (my S40 was the same too), the S70 was far better but the T4 is better in most other areas (apart from the sound

)
As for tyres I wouldn't go budget purely because you need as much chance as you can get at trying to put that torque down! The Eagle F1's are great in the dry.
