Hand brake gaiter / handle!!!

Has anyone fitted an aftermarket handbrake handle and gaiter on there car? I am looking to but noticed that the metal under the rubber is square in shape, just wondering if this will has caused probs for anyone else?

I cant see it being a problem. Would probably be a bit of work to fit an after market one though.

Bought a cheap handle yesterday and the prob is that most handbrake handles are round and the hole in the handle i bought wont go over the square handle!!
I will get one on there eventually even if i have to make it when i go back to college!!!!

That handle i bout wont fit but i found some Carbo Fibre tube i had lying about at home so i will use this and machine an aluminium end cap for it!!!
The tube is a nice tight fit on the standard handbrake so it should look really nice when done!!!
