The English do win at one sport. The UK have had downhill mountain bike champions for many years. This year both the Mens and Womens champions were from the uk.

It's a shame this never hits the main press as we're crap at every other sport :lol:

Nah, Uk own at kitesurfing too, it's all the good weather we have here that encouages lots of practise... erm, yeah ;) Maybe the good weather islands are too busy drinking Malibu..

And clay target shooting, the UK normally do pretty well at that, but as with some of the other sports mentioned, we don't get much press coverage. Despite winning a Gold and Silver at Olympic games and a Gold at the Commonwealth, the latter being a 15 year old girl at the time!
