a good mate of mine Ash Davies has a business that he runs in his spare time called DVS (Davies Volvo Sport) that has largely dealt with the 240's and later model vovlo's!
Now that he has access to a 360 to play with (Mine ) we are looking at doing various upgrades for the 360s - what kinda stuff would you guys be interested in????
Now bear in mind we are in OZ so PLEASE dont list twin turbo V8s as a requests (FOGGY!!!! )
we will def be looking at doing strut braces - what else??
his website show's teh range of stuff he has on offer at teh moment
Rear anti-roll bar, watt-link and http://www.volvo300mania.com/forum-uk/v ... -f1828.htm little improvements like that on to the suspension. Rear anti-roll bar and watt-link are those what I would be most interested to see pics of.

how about having a gearbox straight onto the engine....then you would have a proper propshaft and plenty of axles to chose from including disc brakes at the rear
stock car handling is pants, the body roll is enough to make you sea sick, but ultimately, it grips well an is fairly progressive on the limmit, new shocks do help massively, and dai's bushes work wonders, I also have PI front springs with one coil cut off, dai's lowering blocks and roll bar droplinks and ultra rare koni adjustables all round which have transformed it but it still has a bit much body roll, someone needs to make a stiffer front roll bar....

Nah.. I don't see why you would want to do that in a street car because then you would ruin the one good thing in 360 compared to 240. Might as well start building a 240 if you want gearbox at front. If I would need drivetrain which would handle more power than the stock one does I would start looking other vehicles which had trans-axle system. Some Alfas had it. Porsches with front mounted engines have trans axle too and of course Corvette. More work though than cutting the chassis and fitting the gearbox in front and propbably way more expensive but then again it would be kinda exotic. In rally use I understand why one would like to put gearbox in front etc... because it's much more cheaper and if something goes wrong parts doesn't cost much but in a project car I would do something more exotic.
