Is the Mitsubishi Carisma is made in the old 340 factory?

I believe the 440 was made at the same Dutch factory but is above model made there too I sat in the driver's seat once no thanks

Yeah, it is as far as I'm aware - built along side the Volvo S40!

First the Daf's person cars were build there. From the end 50's i believe. The factory was taken over by Volvo and they started building the 300 series from 1976. After that the 400 series and until recently the S/V40 series.

Today no Volvo's are built there anymore

I was thinking those later front wheel drive models to come from there might have borne some resemblance of body shape to the v3 notchback/front nose /perhaps wishful thinking on my part. No doubt however what a great pedigree was started by the van Doorne brothers those many years ago

Yep, but the van Doorne brothers didn't it at all. But it was probably the best choice.

In fact i only like the daf's and 300-series made in Holland. I don't like the 400- and s/v40 series....
