Have seen these wheels on Ebay and are down the rd... might go and pick up tommorow.

Apparently they are from a Mk2 Golf so reckon they should fit??????

He guessed that the offset is 33???? but not sure where he got that from but then aparently the wheels say 22 on the back???

Any ideas?

Can't see why they wouldn't fit... the offset is usually stamped into the wheel, so I dunno why he's guessing

yes they will fit on to your volvo.

Hi. I'm new here, and don't know a huge amount about alloys. Please could someone tell me - the central hole (bore?) on 340s is 52 (or so it says somewhere on here, I think). For wheels with a larger measurement than this (ie everything) will these just fit straight on, or will they need something to reduce this measurement down to what fits our cars?

This probably sounds very thick, but there ya go!

You can use bolts to center wheels, however if center hole is bigger it will load more bolts, anyway I have not heard if that would cause any problems.

It's harder to centre the wheel using the bolts alone. You get things called 'hub centric rings' (or something like that...it's late), which are like an adaptor to reduce the centre bore.

Yep they'll fit, I tried to put the volvo wheels on a mates golf to pass his roadworthy but the centre hole was too small for his hub, but his wheels fitted my car no worries, the centering rings can be had from any tyre shop, just go in there and they should be able to rip a wheel off and measure the centre hole of the wheel and the hub size and get a ring to suit, cost my mate $20AU for the four rings on the golf.

you can get things called spigot rings to take up the gap between the rims and the hubs I had to get them for the calibra it stops any strain on the bolts

Picked up wheels and to my relief they do fit!

Havnt bothered with the Spigot rings as wheel sits square on studs and i have then tightened the bolts diagonally so therefore they should have gone on square??

I think the issue is more with putting strain on the bolts - normally, when the hub & wheel are matching sizes, some of the weight is taken by the hub centre, wheras with yours all the weight will be taken by the bolts, thereby putting more shearing force on the bolts. they should be strong enough to take this, but beware if any of them have been weakened for any reason...

(and make sure you check the tightness after a week or so, I've known more than one person lose a wheelnut, and in one case a whole wheel!)

Use the spigot rings, don't let the bolts take all the load (plus they will make sure the wheel is centered properly)!

If You think it is unsafe then i will go and buy some spigot rings...

Reason I havnt fitted any is as described above but also the only ones i could see on ebay were £19.99!!!!

Considering i bought the wheels for £35 i thought this was a bit steep!

Al almost lost a wheel off his first 360 due to messing around with the studs. For the sake of £20, I'd say it's a no-brainer.

Those wheels look pretty different to me Fritz...5 vs 6 spoke, and it doesn't look like Sam's have a centre cap. Both look great though
