its on here somewhere ,
you need 4x100 pcd with an offset of 35 to 45 and a centre bore of 52.1 or bigger,,
some vauxhall , some rovers , even (dare I say it here ) mk2 golfs +various others ,
as I say there is a complete list on one of the other threads here
ford and mini rims are not a direct fit
ford are 108 pcd
not sure what minis are

AFAIK Mini rims are 4x4"... which is something close to 4x100mm which the 340 takes. Some have said that minilite rims go straight onto 300s, but some rims wont and need 'modification'
Go for a different style, miniltes on 300s is old hat

WTF?
No better combination ever produced in 13".Tried modern style 15's on mine-didn't like 'em-just didn't look right on what is fundementally an old car(youngest ones must be 16 yr old-mine 22yr old)-swapped to 14" Minilite copies off MX5
Just bide you're time tho' and the usual suspects will be along banging on about spigot rings
+1SteveP wrote:I didn't say they looked bad - far from it! It's just an overdone look imo
Do something different ffs, everyone and their son's getting a 300 to mig the diff and put *those* wheels on, there's gonna be none left for those of us who like the cars for what they are, not what you can gaffer tape to them to make them "cool".
Excellent examples of rare cars are being butchered and rendered unfit for any real usage and it's now very boring and predictable.
I can't remember the last person who signed up who wasn't either looking for someone to sell them a 3door 1700 or for someone to lower/16valve/weld their 3door 1700 so that they can fit minilites and "go sideways"

I've noticed that too Dave! If it's a scraggy car, destined for the scrap heap, that has a reprieve while they have their fun, then fair enough, but as you say, too many mint or good condition cars are being stripped and in a way that it's not easy to put back to stock, then sadly too many people are getting bored after a while, or something breaks, gets stacked or needs money spending, and that's the end.
Fair play to those who make something of their car and want it to last and invest time and effort as it's something they respect and enjoy. But those who see our future classics as nothing more than super cheap drifty bus fun and don't actually respect the cars and how the good ones need preserving can annoy me. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a concours fan, or keeping everything stock and as it came from the factory!

G reg 360 GLT, G reg 340 GL Variomatic, plus many more..........
That's precisely my point, I have nothing at all against modifying cars and I don't have anything against drifting as a sport, but I am bored of seeing a good car going down an obvious route to a sadly predictable demise.petefarrell360 wrote: Fair play to those who make something of their car and want it to last and invest time and effort as it's something they respect and enjoy. Maybe I'm just bitter, because I sold my 3dr 1.7 for £60 just before all of this balls really kicked off.
