Stolen Cosworth

Post by Nick C »

OT, From another forum:
Unfortunately I've heard of a Sierra Sapphire Cosworth that's been stolen from Petts Wood (near Bromley, Kent). It was taken this morning and was - literally - dragged off the drive. If people could keep their eyes open on eBay etc that'd be good. Reg number TAZ 8032, flint grey with grey 17-inch wheels, gold hi spec 6-pot brakes and a 5-inch (now squished) tailpipe. It's had loads of work done to it and was a much loved car.

Oh man, why are people so heartless.

Was it you or Chris who mentioned a stolen mk1 Escort a while back? Was it ever found?

Cossy's always have and I think always will be very pinchable and targets of the scum. Its hard to belive that a car that was not that great still has a incredible reputation all these years on.

as much as i hate fords, a sierra cossie is the only one i wouldnt mind having. maybe its the fact that theyre 'old skool' and they can still hold their own against other newer cars, or maybe its because i like the look of them. maybe its both. who knows?
