360 video
Finally got a bit of video footage before the insurance runs out on monday
Quality is pretty bloody awful but shows the car alright, I think the turbo definately gets rid of the big step up from 2nd to 3rd with a standard 300

Using the timing on the vid I make the 0-60 time at about 7secs.
Not bad!

All down to gearing though, Ali will have to use 3rd to get 60mph up. I'd imagine the Clio would do it in 2ndstealthstylz wrote:Should be quicker than that my Clio was hitting 60 in the mid 6s with fwd and about 25bhp less. Can't imagine it weighing a great deal less either.

Also had a passenger to film that, not sure if 0-60s are usually done with a passenger or not, looking at other cars in comparrison:
Civic Type R - 197bhp 1204kg (163bhp/ton), will hit 60 in 2nd and thats 6.4 to 60
Focus RS - 212bhp 1278kg (166bhp/ton), not sure about ratios but 6.3 to 60
Now i'm going to be pretty much same power/weight as those cars but need 3rd so I wouldn't say its a mile from where it should be considering these cars were designed to have that power
edit: according to www.carfolio.com
Clio Williams - 145bhp 1010kg (144bhp/ton) 0-60 in 7.8
However I know these spec sites don't always get it right but sounds more like it

0 to 60 is also kinda useless "performaace meter." Quarter mile tells much more about the real power the engine is putting on the road than 0-60 time..

1/4 mile trap speed tells you more than the ET I think - it pretty much removes tractional difficulties.
Nice work Ali
A note to Steve who was mocking me on the gearing thing...the injection cars do have the higher ratio diff, which helps....but yeah, I'm well and truly beaten
cheers
