340 and 360 rear end
Does the 360 gearbox and diff bolt directly on a 1.7 340 as have been offered a 360 one for mine and i dont want to spend a day getting if off to find it doesent fit cheers for your help fluff

The 360 box can be fitted to a 340 shell as long as you are also fitting the 360 torque tube and engine!
Its a no go if its to simply replace a blown 340 unit.
The 1.4 and 1.7 boxes are the same btw

Almost every engine has a different diff ratio...1.7 and B200 injection are the same though. Front plate and input shafts are different. You can directly swap diffs between 340s and 360s.
