I knew you would spot it Hugh , those rear window louvres were made by a company called autoplas, if I remember rightly they wer held on by a bracket that you tucked under the rear screen rubber and was held in place by a large adhesine pad at each corner , then the louvre was held to the brackets by little clips that turned 90 degrees to lock them . This was so you could take the louvre off to clean the glass . I had one on one of my escort mk2's and my skoda 130lse , I would love one for the volvo but am pretty sure the one on this 345 is a very rare survivor of the 80's

I'd guess there were also two different types, one for the earlier rear screen and one for the later type. I've seen pictures of both at some point.. one on a white 360GLT.

I didn't know volvo made them ,i've only seen the aftermarket ones that were made for loads of different cars in the 80's , Still I don't want one anymore coz it would hide my lovely rear window sticker. LOL

It has the same bumpers on as mine did originally... I've never seen another Volvo 300 with those :D

Were the door pockets an optional extra? Mine doesn't have any :o I like the blue interior too.

I'd buy that without a thought if it wasn't so far away... :(

Edit: Who though 2 sets of fog/driving assistance lamps were necesary... Looks like it's about to participate in a rally :P

Edit 2: Leccy windows on a 1980 DL? Not fair!
