I was thinking in the bath yesterday, this is where all my best thoughts develop, anyway, I detract - does anyone know if the front end of a Mk1, ie, wings, bonnet, front panel and all attachments, would bolt onto a later car without serious fabrication?

@ tom, PM me what he needs. I now of quite some parts here in the NL too. Since I own 2, i know quite some people with parts.
I went to 2 Mk1's (for sale) the past week. And came to the conclusion my second car (an ugly '79) is better then quite some cars ive seen. So I decided it will get some good attention. My red 77 will get some too, but that was already in planning. Complete front axle with engine, PAS, and all the brake + suspension parts.
If anyone wants a Mk1: I know a couple...All LHD.
EDIT: Looks like electric mirrors!! And I think this car is good saveble...If anyone thinks of doing that: I know some MK1 345 parts here in the NL. Like the rearbumper, cracked glass and stuff like that.
Right, I'd like quite a lot of the mk1-specific bits from it, as long as you can keep the prices reasonable. Let me know on that front.
I'm talking about the headlights (if they're uncracked), nosecone, wings (although only if they're straight....I can see the O/S one is dinged), grille. I'm currently awash with tail lights, but you may want to have those for your own stocks. The bonnet is also worth having, but I don't have a need for one myself. Glass for the front quarterlights is also arguably worth having...but again, I'm not there myself yet (especially the non-tinted stuff in a DL).
Thinking about it's only really the headlights that I want....and the instrument cluster and the switch blank panels from in front of the gear stick. £20 for the lot?
