Throttle Lever

Post by CarlD »

I've just started stripping down the solex carb off our 1.7 and could do with a little help. I need to remove the throttle lever to get to the accelerator pump housing and i'm not sure the best way to remove it with out damaging the end of the thread keeping it still.

Cheers

I think, from memory you have to hold the end of the thread with a small open ended spanner, make sure its well fitting and then you turn the nut with a large spanner, but its very tight from what I remember.
