DF4 Engine Anyone?

Post by volvosneverdie »

Tell me about the DF4 clio anyone?

My 1.4 is about as economical as pouring money into a hole by the side of the road and im really highly amused by the thought of a 1.2 16valve.

Its technicly a Valver.............................................................................. :D
And surely more economical on petril, tax, etc.
Though I think theyre later blocks??

Anyone know if the gearbox fit is correct?
Or anything else for that matter?

Let the knowledge banks open!

Look at a C-type(or F ofcourse)...DF4 sounds unknown, and very deferent.

Just valver it, mine used less fuel than the B14 around the doors, and that's with hosepipe-tastic carb jets!

1.8 8v from an RSi?
2.0 8v from a 400?
They're all just as much work as a 16v really, so you might as well just give in and accept that we'll all have 16v power eventually.

Might not have been such a good idea calling it out though man.
Probly just increased interest in it 12fold.
