Im about to completely refurb my carb from the bottom up, will I need to get it tuned after?

yes.

and you'll have to tune it during the refurbishment aswell.

- floaterheight
- pneumatic choke
- mechanical adjustment of 2nd butterfly valve
- mechanical choke adjustment

you'll need a service manual for the precise info on how to adjust or check these, along the standard items that comes with the rest of the refurbishment.

after that, you rebuild the carb to the engine, do CO mixture adjustment by hearing, then when it runs go the the first garage you can find and re-adjust the mixture and stationary with digital equipment.
