is the modification difficult if you stick with carbs and start of with a 340 1.7? what is the gain in power?

It's a direct swap I think, even the loom is the same? Power is about 110bhp from what I remember

It cant be a direct plug in when the engine is injection. And running it on what carb as a 1.7 one wont fuel correctly. You really may as well just do a valver conversion.

Yeh i know its fuel injected Ad as its in a 480 GT at the moment but from what Dai was saying thought it might be quite an easy conversion, if thats the case though, then yeh might stick with the valver conversion idea.340GLT wrote:It cant be a direct plug in when the engine is injection.
