We had all the railway tracks we ever needed... Everyone is very very quick to blame Beeching, which is a nadgers unfair. The Beeching reports contained a lot of recommendations for investment around the country, but as ever the government just looked at the cuts section, and didn't bother with any of the investments. No wonder the bloke gets abuse, he actually made a lot of sense at the time, but when has the government ever looked at the reports they commission?jtbo wrote:I do search for bus routes and web page says there is no matching routes, right let's see about train then, well well, there is no railway tracks to that part of country yet, maybe I need to wait few years![]()

The Euro conversion rate is currently about 1.48, so we pay the equivalent of around 1.40-1.50 Euros for a litre here, which is slightly more than France/Belgium/Germany.

i filled up to day at 1.22euros a liter also noticed diesel is at 1.00euro on the dot.
the yellow light was flashing :S and it only took 35liters. did 250miles on 35liters. is that good? around 32mpg i think. and to do 1000miles would cost me under 100pounds
cheaper if it does 40mpg on the motorway
