Trim Pannels & Bumper Inserts

Post by Volvo 360 GL B200K »

I am wondering if anyone has come across a good way of cleaning the side trip pannels on the 360's and the black bumper inserts on all models? I thought of using tire spray to bring them up nice and shiney, but i thought i would find out if anyone has any bright ideas, that dont damage or mark the trim pieces!?

Cheers

shoe polish on the black bits works a treat

not sure about the white bits - maybe you could just respray them like the body?

White bits? All the trim pannels on the side of the car are the black glt ones, and the bumper insert that runs the length of the bumper is black to?!

Cheers for the shoe polish idea, sounds good, how long does it last and whats the best way of applying it?

Cheers

well i've only tried it on 'normal' bumpers.. i just rub it in as if i were polishing shoes. might not be suitable on the interior, as i dont know how long it is before you can touch the surface without getting polish all over you :)

try 'black in a flash' - you can get it from halfords.
